This season will come with a lot of suspense especially concerning how Holmes and Watson will be working together. From the latest spoilers, it seems that the series is going to be focused on the conflict between Joan and Kitty considering their relationship with Holmes. There is a trailer that has come out regarding Joan and Kitty and it shows the two of them in conflict and almost coming to blows as such, we can all guess the reason for this, Holmes of course.  We also expect that Joan is going to go head to head with socialite Elana March. At this time the situation has become so frank between the two of them that there is a promo video that features them in an otherwise civil lunch date where Elana casually says, "I was counting on you dying."

Some of the roles we expect to reprise in the third season include Lovibond and Gershon as well as Phil Simms who is going to be appearing as himself in the new season of elementary and as an old friend of Sherlock's in an episode that is supposed to air in November.
