'Star Trek 3' The Search For Spock News: The Scene Will Have Kirk And Spock Interacting With Their Future Selves

There is an interesting scoop that is spreading its way to all Star Trek fans out there; the futuristic themed film is possibly making William Shatner a favorable cameo appearance in the upcoming movie. So the fans are asking, is it a way of apologizing to Shatner after the production left him on the sides playing as Kirk while inviting his co-star Leonard Nimoy to play in two Star Trek bootstrap movies? Or maybe it is just for the fans?

Well, the reason is still unknown, but, according to most sources (cinemablend.com) it is a mere possibility that Kirk will be sharing a scene with Chris Spine's Captain Kirk in Star Trek 3 through time traveling. The younger Spock and Kirk could interact with their future selves and that is, a safe assumption.

According to the reports, the younger version of Spock and Kirk would have an encounter on an alternate timeline, so they don't have to have a leap on run around on the original; the first movie of Star Trek had been established.

To further support the teaser, here is what they have to say about it from cinemablend.com:

"As we all know Kirk and Spock will appear on the movie, but this time it will be diffreent, the setting is futuristic and don't expect that you will watch the original Spock-it timeline."

That makes a lot of sense now since that first reboot of the movie by JJ Abrams' 2009 Star Trek, it goes with the same storyline. Thanks to the power of the future and time travel.

Shatner played his role as Kirk during its television series from 1966 to 1969. The original Spock was Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto is the present Spock while Chris Pines as we say is the young Kirk. Shatner himself confirmed the deal in the production by sharing a status via his twitter account: '"I'm amazed that folks find all these things to write about on what I didn't say," he tweeted late Monday night. "Can't wait for the full moon on Weds when the craziness peaks!" dated Oct. 7.

Star Trek 3 is expected to show in theaters in 2016.
