Lost Season 7 Spoilers: From The Insight Of The Viewers
'I can't imagine something else won't be done with the franchise.'
'Lost' showrunner Carlton Cuse told us that this will be an 'inevitable' season for all of us, though he has claimed the fact that it is Disney who owns the franchise.
"Disney owns the franchise, it made them a lot of money, it's hard to imagine it will just sit there idly forever." Cuse told ABC in one of his interviews.
"Damon (Lindelof) and I told our story in that world and I assume someone will come along, hopefully having been inspired by our story, or our version of the story, and want to tell their own story. It's like the Narnia chronicles. There are seen books, they were all written by CS Lewis, but they all visit Narnia at different times and different configurations and different ways. Someone is going to come up with a way to tell another Lost story. I think it's inevitable. I don't know what it is or how it would work, but I can't imagine something else won't be done with the franchise." He added when asked about what lies ahead for its 7th season.
Having been said before the minor conflicts occurred between ABC and the production Cuse had this to say "We so definitively had decided that this was the end of our journey with the Lost franchise. (The series finale is) called 'The End' for that reason. It is the end of the story that we wanted to tell and we had no plans to go back and revisit it. I think it's likely that at some point, ABC will want to reboot Lost because it's a valuable franchise" Cuse told Entertainment Weekly about the season 7 as a reboot.
"I do not begrudge ABC the opportunity to do something more with the franchise. But we told the story we wanted to tell, and I think there's kind of a wonderful sense of closure for us." He added.
This series already has 6 seasons with 121 episodes that is widely aired on ABC (American Broadcasting Company).
Let's keep our eyes open as we stay tuned for more updates.
