'Pretty Little Liars' Season 5 Spoilers: A's Identity Will be Revealed this Season

It should be expected that the identity of villain "A" will finally be revealed when "Pretty Little Liars" returns. "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 is becoming more and more the season where we will finally get to know A's true identity. While this is still unconfirmed, we strongly believe it so. Why is that? Let's consider the following reasons.

Everybody is hinting on it. It all started with "Pretty Little Liars' showrunner Marlene King. She gave the first hint through a response tweet last September 5 saying "closer than you think". This put every fan of the show raving for more information. More questions began flying, and speculations are brewing.     And then, during a promo for the "Pretty Little Liars" fan appreciation special, the whole ABC also began giving out hints that the infamous A will finally be unmasked. This came as a surprise as it would be much unexpected that A's identity will be revealed during a fan appreciation, still, who knows? But it did not end there. The casts are also hinting on it as well. Usually, casts get to know important plot developments only after they have read the scripts. Given the fact that season 5 is still in production and Troian Bellisario (Spencer) and Keegan Allen (Toby) are already claiming, through Tweeter that they know who A is, there must be some meat there. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Another reason for believing this season is the one is that in any TV series, fans can only endure so much. Anticipation and interest wanes if the whole story begins to drag because answers and truths are kept too long. It can be remembered that they unmasked Mona in the second season. This means that enough time has passed and a new revelation must be done.

"Pretty Little Liars" will have two more seasons to go. This simply means enough episodes for another mystery. It is therefore high time that the present one should be wrapped up. This revelation could have been made at the end of the previous season but, granted that production team was still unaware of the future of the show; they stalled it for this season. Why? Imagine if A was unmasked last season, then they realized season 5 will be the last PLL, what then? Now that two more seasons are assured, they can easily make another mystery.
