Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 2 Release on Sept. 28, Fox: Jake and Amy Romance Not Main Focus

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine season2" premiere will release on Sept. 28, Fox Channel. It expects to add more flavors and colors than the previous season with some new casts. The reports say that Eva Longoria will play in a guest role in the first three episodes as Sophia. Eva will appear as a defense attorney and consequently she is being attracted by Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), when she met him at the court.

The iconic star of "The Closer" Kyra Sedgwick, also will appear in a guest role in the first two episodes of the show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine season2" as Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch. She enacts the role of a character that has been in long term rivalry with Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) on an account with precincts-wide evaluation. Wuntch also tries to acquire the precinct down, Christian Post reports. By quoting Entertainment Weekly, Christian Post also reported that the role in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine season2" is considered to be Sedgwick's first on-camera TV role after the appearance of "The Closer" which was finished in 2012.

 In some news sources also report that producer Mike Schur assured a time jump when the new season starts. "There is a time jump," said Schur at the TCA Press Tour. "It does not pick up where we left off." He said. He also mentioned that the romance of Jake and Amy's will not be the main highlight of the show, but added some more fun elements too. "It's going to be one of the elements of the show that we're going to follow as the year goes on," Mike Schur said. He also expressed hope regarding the new stars, who were casted based on the fan interest, may highlight the show with more fun and entertainments. Patton Oswalt and Craig Robinson are the new guest stars for the upcoming season. "Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller have been promoted to series regulars", executive producer Dan Goor said.
