Avengers 2 latest news: New poster gives a sneak peek of Paul Bettany's character, The Vision; Plus More Marvel characters in the lineup!

Avengers 2 release date has been set for May 1, 2015 in 2D and in IMAX 3D, just in time for the Labor Day weekend.

A new poster released online gave fans a first look of The Vision, the superhero played by Paul Bettany. The actor was the voice of Jarvis in past Marvel movies.

Avengers 2: Age of Ultron's all-star cast includes Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Aside from The Vision, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will make an appearance in the film.

The creative team has reportedly considered the addition of Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Black Panther to the team. Whether they will make the final cut is a major cliffhanger to everyone.

Here's The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron plot, according to Screenrant.com:

"Earth's Mightiest must reunite and work with newcomers Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to battle new antagonist Ultron, who receives an all-new origin story, while dealing with a new level of inner conflict amongst the team. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch may not necessarily agree with The Avengers and Tony Stark may be responsible for the creation of the new villain."
