'Skull Island Movie' King Kong Will Again Rattle Our Screens, Release Date Revealed
Film-goers all over the world, better watch out because 'Skull Island' dubbed as King Kong prequel is said to be released on November 4, 2016. Are you all ready for some action, once in a lifetime adventure and maybe a little bit of drama? If you are, then you will be in for a wonderful treat!
Did you know that 'Skull Island', first appeared in the 1933 film King Kong? The Island's origin is unknown, but it is the home to different species of creatures, prehistoric animals; it is the land of mystery and monsters!
It is said that 'Skull Island' is located somewhere off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. The rock in the centre of the island which is shaped like a skull is referred to as 'Skull Mountain'.
The island goes by many names in the other remakes, some are: Kong's Island or The Beach of the Skull. It is also said that the island is usually afflicted by magnetic anomalies and violent sea storms. It became geologically unstable and had been sinking into the sea for the past thousand years.
Some of the characters related to the original 1933 film are: Kong, Tyrannosaurus, Cave Serpent, Styracosaurus , Two-Legged Lizard (just to name a few).
