Donnie Wahlberg is thanking God after a frightening private jet incident in Las Vegas left the aircraft damaged but everyone aboard safe. The New Kids on the Block singer and actor revealed that the plane went beyond the runway during an attempted takeoff, narrowly avoiding obstacles before striking a fence.

The incident occurred Sunday morning, October 18, at Harry Reid International Airport. According to ChurchLeaders, Wahlberg and seven others escaped injury, and the entertainer prayed with the pilots he credited with preventing a much worse outcome.

"We're all okay. I'm okay," Wahlberg reassured followers in an Instagram video. He then explained how quickly the attempted departure became an emergency: "We were taking off and didn't get up in the air, and uh, ran out of runway."

Standing outside the aircraft, the "Blue Bloods" and "Boston Blue" star pointed toward the runway in the distance. His account described a terrifying path past trucks, heavy equipment, and dumpsters-hazards the aircraft avoided before its eventual collision with a fence.

For Wahlberg, the pilots' response deserved immediate recognition. "These pilots saved our lives," he said, praising their actions as he surveyed the scene.

But his gratitude also carried an unmistakable declaration of faith. "God covered us," Wahlberg said, explaining that although the aircraft did not avoid the final fence, it had missed other obstacles along the way.

The distinction between the damage to the jet and the safety of those aboard became the central message of his Instagram caption. "The airplane did take some lumps-but we did not," he wrote, thanking the pilots for keeping everyone safe and avoiding what he described as a serious disaster.

Wahlberg also praised the emergency personnel who responded on the ground in Las Vegas. His message closed with words of worship and relief: "All glory to God! By His grace, we are all ok."

The update offered fans a reassuring account directly from Wahlberg after a situation that could have ended very differently. Rather than focusing solely on the damaged aircraft, he repeatedly directed attention toward the people who helped protect those aboard and the faith through which he understood their escape.

His testimony also brought a familiar Christian expression into a visibly frightening setting. When Wahlberg said God had covered them, he was standing beside the aircraft after an aborted departure, describing the obstacles they had passed and acknowledging the pilots who brought them through it.

The ChurchLeaders report does not establish what caused the failed takeoff. What Wahlberg made clear, however, was that everyone was safe-and that his first public response was gratitude, prayer, and praise.
