Josiah Queen has released his new single "sundays" - a song fans had a direct hand in choosing.
"sundays" is out now on all platforms, following a string of 2026 releases including "AMAZING!" with Elevation Worship, "make heaven crowded," "demons," and "judas." Rather than picking the next single himself, Queen let his fans decide - sharing snippets of both "sundays" and "when I see you" on social media and letting listeners choose. "sundays" won out.
The song leans into Queen's signature blend of stomp-and-holler folk and contemporary Christian music, opening with soulful, stripped-back vocals over a gentle guitar riff. Lyrically, it reflects on the challenge of living out faith daily rather than compartmentalizing it to Sunday mornings - a theme Queen explores as he wrestles with staying spiritually grounded while living "in the world."
