Peay said the song was born from the biblical reminder that the trials Christians experience are temporary compared with the eternal future God has prepared. His hope is that the song will encourage people to persevere through challenging circumstances and remain focused on the promises of the Lord.
The new release follows Peay's previous Integrity Music single, "Learn Something Old," continuing a musical season centered on faith, perseverance and hope. "Passing Through" is also being introduced to Christian radio, extending its message to listeners around the country.
