Just weeks after opening up about her split from Jelly Roll in an emotional podcast episode, Bunnie XO has revealed why she abruptly pulled the episode-even though it reportedly earned her a staggering $100,000.
The Dumb Blonde host addressed the decision on a recent episode of her podcast, admitting she wrestled with whether she owed fans an explanation. While she has built her brand on radical honesty, Bunnie said she ultimately realized that some moments are simply too painful to leave online forever.
"I took it down because I realized I just don't want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline," she explained. "I don't want to live in that."
The revelation comes amid a highly publicized split from country superstar Jelly Roll. Court documents show the singer filed for divorce on May 18, with news of the breakup becoming public in mid-June. Less than a week later, Bunnie released the now-deleted podcast, where she candidly discussed the end of their nearly decade-long marriage.
While removing a six-figure episode might seem unthinkable, Bunnie insisted the money wasn't a factor.
"I made a hundred grand on that podcast... I don't care about the money," she said, emphasizing that preserving her emotional well-being mattered more than the paycheck.
She also made it clear she doesn't regret recording the episode in the first place. According to Bunnie, the conversation reflected exactly where she was emotionally at the time-even if she's in a different place today.
"That episode served a purpose for me at that time," she shared. "It was real, it was honest and it came from exactly where I was emotionally in that moment. But I'm not in that same place anymore."
The podcast also gave Bunnie an opportunity to push back against speculation that she's already moved on romantically following reports linking her to Dylan Wolf.
"I've been mourning the loss of my marriage for at least a year," she said, revealing that the breakdown of the relationship happened long before fans learned about it publicly.
She hinted there are many private details behind the split that she has no intention of revealing.
"There is so much behind the scenes that I have not spoken on and that I will never speak on because it doesn't matter," Bunnie explained. "I will only tell you guys my part in the demise of my marriage."
Bunnie and Jelly Roll married in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony in August 2016 after a whirlwind romance. Over the years, the couple openly discussed the highs and lows of their relationship-including infidelity, addiction struggles, reconciliation, and the challenges of navigating fame together.
For now, Bunnie says she's focused less on revisiting the past and more on healing, making it clear that while she values transparency with her audience, not every chapter of her life needs to remain on public display forever.
