Former NFL star Tim Tebow is stepping into one of entertainment's hottest new trends - and he's bringing faith-based storytelling with him.

The former Heisman Trophy winner has partnered with Lighthouse Verticals, a new streaming venture focused on bite-sized, smartphone-friendly entertainment, to launch an ambitious slate of more than 30 original family-friendly microdrama series. The move places Tebow at the forefront of a booming industry that analysts predict could generate billions in annual revenue over the next several years.

Rather than chasing Hollywood's latest controversies, Tebow is betting audiences are hungry for uplifting content they can watch in just a few minutes at a time.

The partnership brings together Lighthouse Verticals and Studio316, the faith-based production company founded by The Tebow Group and Snow Story Productions. Together, they'll produce short-form scripted series designed specifically for mobile viewing, with episodes typically lasting between one and five minutes.

But don't mistake these for low-budget social media clips.

The new platform promises professionally produced stories, binge-worthy episodic content, subscription features, community discussion hubs, live conversations, and even referral rewards aimed at building an engaged audience around faith and family entertainment.

Lighthouse Verticals arrives with impressive Hollywood credentials. Its founders have worked on major hits including The Chosen, I Can Only Imagine, American Underdog, Friday Night Lights, Teen Wolf, Risen, and Dear Evan Hansen. Executive Brent Ryan Green also previously served as an executive producer on The Chosen, giving the new platform significant experience in faith-based storytelling.

Tebow will serve as an executive producer, continuing his growing involvement behind the camera. He recently executive-produced the animated biblical film David and previously helped produce the faith-based sports drama Run the Race.

"I believe stories have the power to change how people see themselves, see others, and ultimately see Jesus," Tebow said while announcing the partnership. "We're committed to telling stories with excellence and our hope is that, ultimately, we can glorify God in the process."

Lighthouse Verticals CEO Jesse Liddell believes there's a massive audience waiting for content that reflects their values without sacrificing entertainment.

"This audience wants to engage with the culture without compromise," he said. "They want entertainment with real emotion, real momentum and values they can trust."

The timing couldn't be better.

Microdramas have exploded across the entertainment industry over the past few years, with millions of viewers consuming serialized stories designed specifically for phones. Once dominated by romance and melodrama, the format is now attracting major studios and established producers eager to reach younger audiences who increasingly watch content vertically rather than on traditional television.

Industry analysts estimate the microdrama market could reach an astonishing $26 billion annually by 2030, making it one of the fastest-growing sectors in streaming entertainment.

Hollywood has already begun taking notice. Actress and producer Issa Rae recently released the thriller Screen Time, one of the first premium studio-backed microdramas, which reportedly attracted nearly 75 million views during its first week.

Studio316 co-founder Edward Tommasi believes faith-based audiences have been largely ignored during the rapid growth of the format.

"Faith-based entertainment has long been underserved by emerging digital formats," Tommasi said. "By combining Tim's passion for faith-centered storytelling, The Tebow Group's mission-driven vision, Snow Story's production expertise and Lighthouse's innovative distribution platform, we're building something that can meaningfully expand the reach of faith-and-family entertainment."

For Tebow, whose career has evolved from football superstar to bestselling author, philanthropist, broadcaster, and film producer, the venture represents another major expansion of his growing media influence-and perhaps his boldest effort yet to reshape what family entertainment looks like in the age of vertical video.
