Natalie Grant is celebrating more than two decades in contemporary Christian music with the release of her upcoming collection, Greatest Hits, arriving May 8, 2026. The project brings together many of her most impactful songs-tracks that have defined her voice as one of the genre's most powerful and enduring artists.
Grant began her career in contemporary Christian music after auditioning for the traveling group Truth before relocating to Nashville to pursue a solo path. She signed with Benson Records in 1997 and released her self-titled debut in 1999, later moving to Pamplin Music where she issued Stronger (2001). Following Pamplin's closure, she found a long-term home at Curb Records, releasing a string of albums beginning with Deeper Life (2003).
Her breakthrough came with Awaken (2005), which was certified gold and marked a turning point in both commercial success and artistic identity. Later projects such as Love Revolution (2010) and Hurricane (2013) further solidified her place in Christian music. Grant has reflected candidly on her early career, noting dissatisfaction with how she was initially marketed, explaining that her early work "wasn't me at all." That tension ultimately pushed her toward greater creative control, a shift that began to take shape with Awaken.
A pivotal moment in her journey came with a life-changing trip to India in 2004, which reshaped her artistic vision. From that point forward, Grant has emphasized music that inspires hope, purpose, and faith rather than simply pursuing chart success. Alongside her music career, she authored The Real Me (2005), toured extensively with artists like Bebo Norman, Jeremy Camp, and MercyMe, and appeared in television projects including the GMC film Decision. She also hosted the GSN series It Takes a Church and continued releasing new music, including No Stranger (2020), led by the single "My Weapon."
In 2025, Grant entered a new chapter by signing with Capitol CMG and releasing a holiday album, Christmas. Now, Greatest Hits serves as both a retrospective and a reminder of the messages that have defined her career.
