Country artist Drake White is officially back on the road after his tour bus was fully restored, five months following a serious accident caused by a medical emergency involving his driver. The milestone marks a significant moment of recovery not only for the vehicle, but for White and his touring team as they move forward with renewed gratitude.

"The journey continues!" White shared on social media, posting images of the refurbished bus alongside photos showing the extent of the original damage. "Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers getting our home away from home back and ready to hit the road."

The accident occurred on October 23, 2025, after driver Daveo Wilmont suffered a stroke behind the wheel. The incident forced the cancellation of scheduled shows and raised concern across the music community. While the bus has now been restored, Wilmont remains in recovery at his home in Natchez, Mississippi.

White provided an update, noting that Wilmont is "still battling" and asked fans to continue praying for his healing. According to updates shared through a GoFundMe campaign created to support his recovery, Wilmont's stroke was caused by a blood clot in his brain, requiring several days in intensive care. The fundraiser has since raised nearly $16,000 to assist with medical and recovery costs.

In a recent update, Wilmont's wife described encouraging signs of progress, particularly through music. Though memory challenges remain, she shared that he is still able to recall songs when hearing them and can engage with rhythm-an emotional and hopeful development for the family.

As touring resumes, White also took a moment to highlight the unseen sacrifices behind live performances. "Next time you go to a concert and watch a band that you love, remember, there's a whole host of lives that sacrifice a lot to put a show on!" he wrote. "Buy the ticket, support live music! Peace and love! Let's go JAM!"

With the bus back on the road and his team regaining momentum, White's return signals both resilience and community-while continued prayers remain for Wilmont's full recovery.
