Fans of faith-based cinema will have another opportunity to experience the inspiring film Unsung Hero when it returns to select AMC Theatres locations for special encore screenings on March 15 and March 18. The showings are part of AMC's Voices of Hope series, which highlights uplifting and inspirational films that celebrate stories of faith, perseverance, and family.

Inspired by a remarkable true story, Unsung Hero chronicles the journey of the Smallbone family after they move from Australia to the United States in search of a fresh start following a devastating financial setback. Anchored by the unwavering faith of their mother, the family's perseverance ultimately helps shape the musical careers of their children-including the future members of the acclaimed Christian pop duo for KING & COUNTRY and their sister, singer-songwriter Rebecca St. James.

Directed by Joel Smallbone and Richard Ramsey, the film stars Daisy Betts, Smallbone himself, and a cast that includes Candace Cameron Bure, Jonathan Jackson, and Lucas Black. The film was originally released in North America in April 2024 and went on to earn strong audience response and box office success for a faith-based drama.

The upcoming AMC screenings offer audiences another chance to experience the emotional family story on the big screen. Organizers say additional showtimes may be added depending on audience demand.

Families, churches, and youth groups are encouraged to attend together and support inspirational storytelling in theaters. Showtimes and participating locations can be found through AMC Theatres' listings.
