The inspirational film I Still Believe is returning to theaters for a limited engagement, giving audiences another opportunity to experience the powerful story behind the life and music of Christian recording artist Jeremy Camp.
Camp recently shared the news with fans, revealing that the film's distributor, Lionsgate, is bringing the movie back to select theaters across the United States for a short run at AMC Theatres.
The special theatrical return runs March 8 through March 11, with some locations beginning showings earlier in the weekend. Camp encouraged fans to spread the word and support the re-release, even if they have already seen the film.
"I'm so blown away that Lionsgate is putting I Still Believe back in AMC theaters for a very short run," Camp shared. "Send this to whoever you can and support it-and even if you've seen it, try and go again."
Originally released in March 2020, I Still Believe tells the real-life story of Camp's journey through faith, love and loss, focusing on his relationship with his first wife, Melissa Lynn Henning-Camp, who died of cancer shortly after their marriage. The film stars KJ Apa as Camp and Britt Robertson as Melissa.
The movie debuted just as theaters worldwide began shutting down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which significantly limited its theatrical run. Camp said the new limited engagement offers a meaningful second chance for audiences to experience the film on the big screen.
"This is such a blessing since it came out during COVID," he said. "To have another chance for it to be in theaters again is incredible."
Camp added that strong audience turnout could potentially lead to a longer theatrical run.
Directed by the Erwin Brothers, the film explores themes of faith, perseverance and the healing power of music, highlighting how Camp's personal tragedy ultimately shaped many of his most beloved worship songs.
Fans interested in supporting the re-release are encouraged to check local listings at AMC theaters and invite friends and family to attend during the brief screening window.
