International worship leader and multi-award-winning artist Michael Bethany is set to release his highly anticipated live album Sanctuary on March 6 in partnership with Capitol CMG's Re:Think Music. The 19-track project - recorded live at Freedom Church - captures more than 100 minutes of immersive worship designed to usher listeners into a deeper awareness of God's presence.

Produced by Bethany alongside Ryan Rich (Martin Smith, Elyssa Smith) and Kevin Turner (Marvin Sapp, Tauren Wells), the album features an all-star lineup of multi-GRAMMY Award-winning and acclaimed worship voices, including Maverick City Music's Maryanne George and Alton Eugene, Elevation Worship's Isaiah Templeton, and The Choir Room's Dwan Hill.
At its core, Sanctuary is a declaration that worship extends beyond a church gathering - it is a lifestyle rooted in being the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.
"This album is a collection of corporate worship songs that help people to see themselves as a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit," emphasizes Bethany. "It is constantly pressing into the concept of the individual being the dwelling place. I want people to experience the power of God's presence in their own personal life."
The album's extended song structures - many flowing into "Overflow" moments - are intentional. Rather than limiting worship to traditional radio-length tracks, Bethany crafts space for encounter.
"Typically, a song might be three and a half, four or five minutes," he explains. "But if you spend time with the Lord, it's as long as you have. We just take a journey and create that environment so you can experience what the Holy Spirit's wanting to do within your own heart and your own temple."
