The National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment (NABFEME) proudly announces the Women's Gospel Summit: The Price of Being HER, a purpose-driven gathering designed to empower women serving in Gospel music, ministry, leadership, and business. Taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Southbrook Town Center in Memphis, the Summit will bring together influential voices, industry leaders, and creatives for a dynamic morning of dialogue, strategy, and spiritual empowerment.

The Women's Gospel Summit will address the unique realities women face while leading with faith. From navigating leadership, visibility, and sustainability to balancing calling, career, family, and community responsibilities, the event creates space for conversations that are often left unspoken within faith-based and industry settings. Through practical insight and collective engagement, the Summit aims to foster growth, resilience, and authentic connection.

Blending faith and strategy, the event equips attendees with tools to strengthen leadership capacity, build sustainable careers and ministries, and cultivate relationships that support long-term success. Keynote speaker Heather Beverly, a respected entertainment attorney and Gospel music advocate from Chicago, will deliver a message centered on purpose-driven leadership and navigating influence with wisdom and integrity.

A major highlight of the morning is High Heels in High Places, a signature segment spotlighting influential women whose journeys reflect both the cost and the calling of leadership. Featured participants include Jackie Patillo, president of the Gospel Music Association, alongside acclaimed singers Wendy Moten and Lisa Knowles-Smith, Karen Camper, and veteran Charita Brittenum of Sony Music Entertainment. Additional seminars and sisterhood-focused networking sessions will foster collaboration across church, community, and industry sectors.

"The Women's Gospel Summit is more than an event - it is a movement," said NABFEME CEO Johnnie Walker. "We are creating a space for women to be seen, heard, equipped, and affirmed - not only in their calling but in their capacity to lead with excellence and authority."

The Summit serves leaders across the church, community, entertainment, and business sectors, while also providing opportunities for media partners, sponsors, and organizations to connect with an influential audience of Black women whose cultural and economic impact continues to shape industries and communities.
