Only Lovers Left Alive Indie Movie Teasers, Reveals, Rumors and Updates: Tilda Swinton Acts Opposite Tom Hiddleston in Vampire Movie

2014 has seen a host of main stream movies but there are also a large number on independent films out there that are only known within the film festival circuit. Only Lovers Left is one such movie, after its release at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 it has done its rounds and only managed to get a theatre release in February of 2014. The movie is directed by Jim Jarmusch who is a well known independent director, actor, writer, producer and editor. Jarmusch admitted that even after he was ready to start on the project funding was a problem for a very long time. The film is distributed by Soy Pictures Classic, Soda Pictures and Pandora Film Verlih for Recorded Picture Company and Pandora Film. The movie has made 7.5 million dollars at the box office so far.

The movie is about two vampires, Adam and Eve, who even though they have been married for centuries live thousands of miles apart. While Eve lives in Tangier, Adam lives in Detroit. Both of them do not feed on blood directly from humans for fear of contamination and instead depend on local suppliers for the good stuff as they call it. Adam is now depressed after a life of influencing music and not being able to take credit for it. He hires a young man Ian to procure various things for him including a custom made bullet with which he no doubt expects to end his life. Eve calls her husband and finds him expressed, she decides to go to Detroit and while there her sister comes as well. Her sister Ava, is not as quiet as these two and wants to party and drink blood from all sources, she kills young Ian which forces Adam and Eve to flee to Tangiers.

Tom Hiddleston whom we all know as Thor takes up the role of Adam while Tilda Swinton acts opposite him as the lovely Eve. John Hunt, Mia Wasikowska and Jeffrey Wright are also in the movie. Only Lovers Left I available in English, French and Arabic.
