American Sniper Widow News, Reveals, Rumors and Updates: Taya Kyle Sues her Husband's Bankrupt Company for his Image Usage

The widow of 'American Sniper' Chris Kyle is suing the Texas law-enforcement-training business that he founded claiming that they are using his image illegally to sell merchandise and training services. The case is already in court where her lawyers claim Craft International LLC is using the name of her husband. Chris Kyle is a legend and claimed to be the most lethal sniper is US Military History. Before you roll your eyes, the former Navy SEAL was credited with 150 confirmed kills which he did within the tours that he served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was also the author of the bestselling book, "American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History."

Chris was awarded with two silver stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation, as well as, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. Ms Kyle stated that she and her children were the only people allowed to use Chris Kyle's name, likeness and image after he was killed on Feb. 2, 2013, on a Texas gun range. For one, the company's merchandise obviously skyrocketed after his demise. Now the company routinely posts pictures of Mr. Kyle on the website and advertises him as the co founder. The suit also demands that the company desist from using the references on the site and that they pay her and her family an unspecified sum for using his image and reference for publicity and sales.

A bankruptcy lawyer from Craft International did not return any of the requests for comment on the lawsuit. The private company specializes in training police officers, SWAT and members of the military in handling austere environments but some of the investors who are owed about 2.6 million by the company claimed that the company may not have the funds to operate. As a result, they are losing instructors fast. The chief executive of Craft International, Steven Young first challenged the inherited ownership stake in the business last year after Chris's death, so things have been brewing for quite a while.
