Alisa Turner Sings of God's Faithful Love with Debut Album, 'Miracle Or Not,' Due May 11
Integrity Music announces the May 11 global release of Miracle Or Not, the first full-length album from Nashville, Tennessee-based singer, songwriter and worship leader Alisa Turner. Miracle Or Not follows Turner's critically-acclaimed, self-titled EP released last summer and her break-out single, "My Prayer For You", which has garnered almost 2 million YouTube views while her songs total over 5 million streams.
"I know that You love me, miracle or not." These hard, faith-filled lyrics anchor the title song and the entire 13-track album, a purposeful choice for Turner who battles chronic pain due to Lyme Disease. She knows the peace and love of God through every struggle and chooses to praise Him all the more.
"Whether or not God has answered your prayer or you're still waiting for your miracle, He is still good and He's still going to see you through... I'm living proof!," says Turner. "I'm still waiting for my miracle but I'm praising Him because He's here with me in in the pain, in the fire... and He'll be with you. He's still working no matter the circumstances."
Miracle Or Not offers five songs from the Alisa Turner EP, including a new version of church favorite "Lift My Eyes," and eight new tracks. Four of the songs are available for immediate download with the album's pre-sale including new single, "Miracles."
Turner's gritty faith and determination shine through in her performance of "Miracles" as she sings "The one who does impossible, is reaching out to make me whole." Penned by Integrity writers Dustin Smith and Stu G with Chris Quilala (Jesus Culture) and Joshua Silverberg (Jesus Culture, The Belonging), the song was produced by Seth Mosely (For King & Country, Newsboys) and Mike "X" O'Connor (Brandon Heath) and will release to Christian radio.
Other tracklist gems include "Only My Jesus," a modern hymn co-written by Turner and Leslie Jordan (All Sons & Daughters), who also appears on the song, and "Louder" written with and co-produced by Hank Bentley (Matt Maher, Zach Williams) and Grammy Award nominee Michael Farren ("Trust In You").
Turner will share the new music at concerts in Ohio (April 21) and Iowa (May 4), at the National Worship Leader Conference in Nashville (May 9) and during the WeAreWorship "Songs Of The City Tour" which travels to Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia and Indiana (May 15-26).
