Faith Movement In God We Trust Mobilizes Hundreds of Thousands to Redeem Sept. 11
The faith-based movement In God We Trust (IGWT) is mobilizing hundreds of thousands of Christians to pray, fast, and repent for the safety of our nation on September 11, 2017.
Led by Don Black, president and CEO of Cornerstone Television Network, IGWT, a unique coalition of broadcasting networks, statesmen, and denominational leaders, is uniting around the message for a renewed call to intercede for America.
Gov. Mike Huckabee, Alveda King, and Dr. Pat Robertson, among others, are lending their voices to a television special titled "In God We Trust - 9/11 Triumph from Tragedy," which is being shared by Cornerstone Television Network with many other Christian broadcasting networks. They are all rallying to the cause, the largest partnership in the faith broadcasting industry. On September 11, 2017, Cornerstone Television and other outlets will expand their significant efforts through the live streaming and broadcasting of special programming intended to gather hundreds of thousands of people together virtually, encouraging them to join in prayer, fasting, and repentance.
"Our message is simple - we want to take back a day that was used for evil and, instead, redeem it for good," said Black.
Additionally, the group intends to present President Trump with a petition signed by 100,000 Christian citizens, asking him to issue a Presidential Proclamation designating 9/11 as an official day of prayer, fasting, and repentance. The special can be viewed and the petition signed online at http://www.ingodwetrust.tv.
It's been nearly 100 years since a similar presidential proclamation was issued. In 1918, President Woodrow Wilson dedicated a day for prayer, fasting, and repentance at the end of World War I.
"With the growing threat of terror at home and around the world, this is the time for Christians to act," said Black. "We must reclaim our nation and return it to its original intent. If we miss this opportunity, it may be gone forever."
On September 11th this special programming may be joined via its syndicated group and live-streamed content through www.ingodwetrust.tv and www.facebook.com/CornerstoneTV.
In addition two books are also available: an e-book titled 9/11 Triumph From Tragedy, which is offered as a free download when signing the petition, and Make America Safe Again: Ten Prayers to Turn the Tide available through retail.
