Actor Maurice Lauchner Releases His New Single, "Can’t Live Without You"
Actor, singer and song stylist Maurice Lauchner offers praise to God with the debut of his new single, Can't Live Without You. A firm believer in the principles of the Bible that he learned in his youth, Lauchner held fast to the scripture that a man's gift will make room for him and bring him before great men. God did the orchestration, placing Lauchner amongst the finest singers and musicians in the New York area, giving him an opportunity to cultivate his gift and sharpen his skills.
Doors of opportunity would open affording Lauchner the chance to share his gift with the world via roles on The Cosby Show, The Untold Story of Emmit Till documentary and Carly Simon's Moonlight Serenade. The spotlight would shine even brighter as Maurice was cast in Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas, Aunt Bam's Place and Madea Gets a Job.
In his down time, Lauchner found time to record and release his first CD, Songs and Hymns From the Heart in 2009. In preparing for a sophomore project, a friend sent him a demo copy of Can't Live Without You. The song struck the right chord and tugged at his heart. "I heard Can't Live Without You and was immediately taken with the song's refrain", states Lauchner. "I called Estee Bullock (Hezekiah Walker) and sang the chorus to him over the phone and in about a week, he called me back with some verses he had written. It was then that I knew we were ready to record this track. Looking over my life and all of the things that me, my wife and children have been through, I know that I couldn't have made it without the Lord, so the song has a real personal meaning to me. The Apostle Paul reminds us that in Him (GOD) we live, move and have our being. As we live, we will encounter struggles in life. but how you go through your struggle determines how you will come out of it. God allows struggles to bring back into focus that He is our way out. He has our back, knows our future and He really loves us. He gives purpose to our lives and gives us reason to live.
Can't Live Without You has been released to radio and will be available on iTunes, Amazon and other digital outlets on July 4th.
