Keith Williams Launches New Single "Thirsty for theRain" at Stellar Gospel Music Awards Weekend
EPM Music Group is putting the full weight of its music muscle behind the inspiring and uplifting new song of praise "Thirsty For The Rain" by seasoned worship and praise recording artist Keith Williams who was recently Minister of Music at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. served as pastor until his assassination in 1968.
The soul-stirring track boasts an adrenalin-pumping rhythm and a simple plea to receive a spiritual rain of blessings in every aspect of ones' life. "I'm ready for the shower, send your rain," Williams sings to God over a thunderous crush of conga drums. Williams, a Howard University graduate, adds that, "God says he
who hungers and thirsts for the rain shall be filled so my prayer is that God saturate every heart with his presence and His power."
Williams is kicking off the "Thirsty For The Rain" launch with a performance of it at "The Gathering" extravaganza taking place Sunday, February 21st @6:00 PM at RAM Ministries Church located at 911 G Street, Las Vegas, NV 89106. Seating is free and open to the general public. A street team will distribute Keith Williams souvenirs during the Stellar Gospel Music Awards weekend and Williams will be very visible, popping up at various events and also conducting the choir backing EPM founder Earnest Pugh at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards pre-show ceremony.
"Thirsty For The Rain" was written by Williams with the assistance of Earnest Pugh and producer Aaron Carter. The song is now digitally downloadable in the iTunes Store and other online music sales platforms. Williams burst on to the national gospel scene in 2013 when his Billboard Top Ten album "Tone For Worship" was released amid the radio success of his heartwarming urban-flavored ballad "I Believe God."
