The Punches Release "Mountain Movers"
Bluegrass Christian family band the Punches have released their new album "Mountain Movers." The Punches is a bluegrass gospel group who make their home in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Mom, dad & four children all play instruments, sing, and have been performing nationwide at churches, festivals, fairs and special events since 2009. They've been featured on Great American Gospel (a weekly television show) in many countries and on over 200 stations across America.
The team writes: "Our family enjoys traveling together bringing the gospel to the world. We enjoy taking music from various genres, throwing a banjo in, & putting out our own interpretation. The kids enjoy the more contemporary feel & Mom & Dad lean more toward the traditional, but when we come together as a family we create a great mix. The twins certainly have their own thing going on & love singing together, but they each have a distinct sound quality to their voice & are comparatively different."
The entire family has a love of the Lord and desires to see souls saved and encouraged in their ministry. They are fun and uplifting and their performance has a strong spiritual undercurrent. Everyone seems to like families and the mere fact of mom, dad and four children traveling and performing together is a powerful witness.
