Sony PlayStation TV, aka PS TV or Vita TV, Goes on Sale!
Recently, Sony released its latest product that is sure to compliment gaming consoles and soon to be an essential gadget for any dedicated gamer out there - PlayStation TV, otherwise known as PS TV or Vita TV.
Some have been describing the brand new gaming gadget as a PS Vita that needs a television and controller due to its microconsole appearance. PlayStation TV comes with hardware accessories such as the Ethernet, HDMI, a USB outlet and PS Vita memory card slots. A great feature of the PS TV is that users will not be only able to download games from the PSN store, load physical games but can also play PS4 games without the need for a PS4.
Another great thing about the PS TV is that user are also able to watch their favorite TV shows, stream and download straight from the internet. Unfortunately, it does not have Netflix yet but we will see if Sony will consider having it up soon.
However, it does have its own setbacks with several complaining that PlayStation TV does not support much games or, in other words, or cannot run especially majority that PS Vita can play - a big setback from the number promised by Sony. This was also reported for downloadable content. Sony has yet to release a statement about this issue.
Buyers can buy it for as low as $100, though it will not come with certain accessories such as a controller and a memory card. So if you're looking for a budget friendly alternative to Sony consoles, you might want to consider grabbing your very own PlayStation TV.
